27.5 hp 3 cylinder diesel engine. Takes approx. 10 seconds to start after complete cool down (over night). Glow plug indicator bright red after 20 to 30 seconds. Exhaust very dirty (black pungent smoke) for the first minute or so. Is all this normal? I've owned the tractor 1 month and It only has 700 hrs. Engine lube oil consumption 1 quart after 10 hours full throttle bush hogging. Seems to have plenty of power. This is my first diesel and I don't like that starter cranking for so long.
